Viva Glam!

This past week was VIVA GLAM! (aka drag makeup) week for our stage makeup class.  I adapted an old look of mine from a couple of years ago...

Adapted for Glam! with gold leaf, false eyelashes, blocked eyebrows, and a little more skin.

 

 My friend Trace's project was aptly called "Cupcake".  ;)

Old Age!

It was old age week in our stage makeup class.  Here's what I had at the end.  I was a little rushed for time at the end, so the wrinkles around the eyes and forehead were a little unfinished. 

Basic Corrective

Hey all.

My stage makeup class is going great.

Here's my practice for our "Basic Corrective" lab.  

I'm not completely happy with the mouth... I was trying to highlight just at the top a little to make my upper lip look a little fuller.  I'll need to work on that part.  Otherwise, not too bad.  :)

Just messing around with two of my friends last year.  Drew, the boy on the right, was a bit of a Sweeney Todd/vampire mix, and Sean, on the left, was a random futuristic/David Bowie/vamp victim.

so-perfect prosthetic ventures.  This was half-way through a test-run for the film Spark by Eric Deitz, which can be found at his website here.

Working on some fairy makeup for a friend of mine around Halloween.  This is a picture of the work-in-progress as we didn't manage to get one of the finished product.  I'm working on learning how to block off/out eyebrows this semester, though, so creating a winged brow like this will be much easier later on.

they are night zombies!

Here's some zombie makeup I did a couple of months ago.  It was a test-run on my roommates to see if it looked realistic (er, I mean 'scary') enough.
